Personalized learning plans to reach your English communication goals.

About the English Fluency Center

The English Fluency Center was founded by Danette Kubit, a state-certified adult educator with a Master's degree in TESOL from Winona State University and 15 years of experience helping adult learners reach their communication goals. EFC’s mission is to empower learners to gain confident, practical English skills that open personal, academic, and professional opportunities.

What EFC offers

  • Personalized instruction: We design courses around each learner’s priorities—career advancement, workplace communication, presentation skills, day-to-day conversations, test preparation, or integration into a new community.

  • Practical focus: Lessons emphasize language you will actually use—clear pronunciation, confident speaking, concise writing, effective listening, and culturally appropriate communication.

  • Research-based methods: Instruction is grounded in adult learning principles. We use strategies that respect adult learners’ experience, motivations, and time constraints, making progress efficient and sustainable.

  • Flexible formats: One-on-one coaching, small-group classes, and tailored workshops accommodate different goals, schedules, and learning preferences.

  • Measurable outcomes: We begin with a needs assessment and set clear, achievable milestones so learners can track improvement and build real-world skills.

Why study English with us

  • Support for professionals and newcomers: Whether you’re preparing presentations, improving pronunciation for workplace communication, preparing for exams, or settling into life in a new country, our programs are tailored to real-life needs.

  • Confidence and communication: Beyond grammar and vocabulary, we emphasize building fluency, clarity, and the confidence to use English effectively in any setting.
